Hi, I’m Kim! I was born in the Philippines, and thanks to the Navy, I mostly grew up in Yokosuka, Japan. Right after high school I got impatient and decided to venture out on my own and move to San Diego. Who knew that I would fall in love with this city and plant roots here? From the beaches to the weather to the food to the relaxed and friendly culture, what’s not to love? It just makes me even more excited to be able to share everything about this city with anyone wanting to settle and/or invest here. Helping others is my passion. I know it sounds cliche, but I changed career paths a few times hoping to find something where I can do that for a living. I worked mostly in customer service and sales management and got my degree in marketing with a minor in business and entrepreneurship. I’ve always had a great interest in real estate, and I believe that a career in real estate is as just as much about service as it is about sales. When I jumped in, I realized how real estate allows me to combine all my marketing, sales, and entrepreneurial skills with my passion for helping people.
Being a military kid, I have a soft spot for servicing military families and helping them buy/sell homes and investment properties. One of the things I’ve mastered growing up with the military is being able to adjust well to changes. The ability to pivot and produce solutions when the unexpected happens allows me to help my clients maneuver through different challenges during their home-buying process. I don’t love problems, but I love solving them. Living overseas has also given me the opportunity to develop great appreciation and respect for people of different cultures and backgrounds. Believing that our differences allow us to build stronger relationships is so useful in such a relationship-based industry. My goal is to help you reach your goals, and create a real, lasting relationship beyond your real estate transaction.
Outside of real estate, I love spending time with my partner, family, friends, and two dogs who are more spoiled than I care to admit. Traveling, eating, laughing (and trying hard not to sound like an inspirational quote apparently) with people I love are some of the things I enjoy. Life is too short to not do the things you love while you can. I also run a small retail business selling my crafts as my creative outlet! I believe in trying to make a difference while you can, so I try and give back whether it’s money, time, or other resources to causes and organizations I believe in such as the American Cancer Society, San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, San Diego Pride, and San Diego LGBT Community Center to name a few. I am excited to connect and help you in your next real estate journey!
